Ah yes! For us simple folk that don’t need 10000 GB on our MP3 players, and want to pay the regular price for one Perkins has an accessible 1 GB MP3 player called the Zen Stone. It has large controls, will play audio books, and music, and comes with braill, or large print instructions. Price? If you have to ask. $43.99. www.perkinsstore.org.

Ok, wait a minute here. Creative also produces a portable mp3 player called the "creative Zen Stone", which comes in 1 GB and the Zen Stone Plus which comes in 2 and 4 GB models, but the plus actually has menus, a fm radio and a voice recorder. So perkins should think about changing the name of the player or there maybe a problem.

I think perkins sell the creative zen stone which is 1 gb if i understand correctly. They just provide additional braille help according to post1. I don't think they claim that they actually produce the player themselves.

Damn it, we're tal, king about Zenstone MP3 players here, not Braillers, lol. There's a very noticable difference between the two, lol. I have the Zenstone Plus. It's the smallest, neatest little gadget I've ever laid hands on, only costs £50 and you don't have to keep changing CDs or batteries, lol.

You can get the same thing Perkins sells at any local Walmart. The only difference with Perkins is that it has Braille instructions. Otherwise, it's the same exact player.

Ok, now that I read the post again, this is correct. and the price is very close to that of Amazon's, only difference is you get the large print or braille instructions. it was late when I read that. *note to self do not post when you are half asleep. *end note* lol

Hi. Ginny, I got mine for Christmas, too. I'd wanted one for quite awhile, but it was never important enough to me to spend the money. They're not that expensive, but I needed the money for other things. So I got all excited when a friend gave me the Zen Stone this year. Woohoo!
